As PEI’s first appointed Marriage Commissioner , I can perform civil marriages for anyone with a valid PEI MARRIAGE LICENSE. Licenses can be obtained at any ACCESS PEI site across Prince Edward Island.
First time couples, couples with a Divorce Decree or a Widow or Widower with proof of death of their spouse as well as same sex couples, can be married on PEI by a Marriage Commissioner.
