The living room has a fireplace (electric) with wing back chairs and comfortable sofa. A modest library and a lovely old piano are found in the adjacent den with its own verandah access. The kitchen/dining area features a washer/dryer, a barbeque close by outside, and a country farm table that easily seats up to ten. The wrap around covered verandah allows rest and relaxation in any direction surrounded by heritage roses on a two acre lot. The cottage is a fifteen minute drive to The Confederation Bridge in one direction and a twenty minute drive to the city of Summerside in the other. Stunning sunsets, unlimited views across the strait and a location next to fertile farmland invite invigorating walks in the area and other outdoor activities such as bocce, croquet and kite flying. CheltonProvincialPark is a short three minute drive away with a grocery store and restaurant three miles away in the village of Bedeque.
